Independent Decision File terms
These terms describe the standard US$695 one-off decision-support project. They should be read with the Privacy Policy and any scope confirmation supplied before work begins.
Product and scope
The Independent Decision File is a one-off decision-support project for one defined consequential decision. It is not membership, not an unlimited investigation and not a promise that every document or issue will be reviewed regardless of scope.
Customer preparation
The customer is responsible for defining the decision, completing the structured intake, supplying relevant material and identifying important context. We may ask for clarification or decline material that falls outside the agreed scope.
What is delivered
The standard product consists of one written Independent Decision File based on the agreed decision and supplied material, followed by one focused private Decision Debrief. The File may organise claims, evidence, assumptions, costs, conditions, incentives, missing information, downside, fit, strongest case for proceeding, strongest case for caution, unresolved questions and a qualified present position.
No tools or membership
The US$695 purchase does not include the eleven Careful Circle tools, member library, Premise member access, briefings, Closer Decision Room, recurring support or any membership entitlement.
Decision ownership and professional boundaries
We do not make the final decision, certify an opportunity, guarantee success or replace legal, tax, accounting, financial or other regulated professional advice. Independent verification and the final decision remain the customer’s responsibility.
Confidential material
Only material reasonably required for the agreed scope should be supplied. An NDA process may be requested before sensitive information moves. Submitted material is handled under the Privacy Policy and is not made public or used as a testimonial or case study without separate permission.
Payment and changes in scope
US$695 is a one-time charge for the standard defined process. If a decision requires materially broader investigation, unusual manual work or a different professional scope, that must be identified and agreed separately rather than silently expanding the standard product.
